Sparks Collegian of the Year Fund was received pursuant to a merger with the Delta Sigma Pi Educational Foundation at September 30, I 993, and was created for the purpose of enhancing the Collegian of the Year program. In a February 2005 a letter provided by Mrs. Buttercup Sparks she stated "The Sparks Funds are to be used to support Delta Sigma Pi's Collegian of the Year Program (or its successor similar programs) at the discretion of the Leadership Foundation Trustees".
